What are the dates of the symposium?
August 4, 5, and 6 of 2017.
What is the admission fee?
$110.00-Early Bird Admission Prior to December 25, 2016.
$125.00-After December 25, 2016.

What is included with the admission?
The ticket gives you access to all three days of the symposium, and includes:
-Friday evening keynote speaker session, roundtable discussion, and author book signings.-Saturday speaker series and author book signings.
-Friday evening hors d’oeuvres.
-Raffle ticket for our grand prize drawing.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, but we strongly encouraged participants purchase tickets in advance to secure their reservation. Seating is limited.
If I can’t attend the event, what is the ticket refund policy?
-Before May 30th, 2017 – Full Refund.
-June 1 – June 30th, 2017 – 50% Refund.
-After July 1st, 2017 – No Refund.
Where is Stevenson Ridge?
Stevenson Ridge is located in Spotsylvania, Virginia, which is approximately 12 miles south of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Stevenson Ridge is conveniently located near exits 130, and 126 of I-95.
Can I stay onsite?
Stevenson Ridge has lodging available. Attendees to the Symposium will receive 10% off the lodging rate. For more information contact Stevenson Ridge at 540-582-6263 or visit their website at: www.stevensonridge.net.
Are there other hotels in the area?
Yes, there are a great many hotels in the Fredericksburg area.
What time should I get there Friday?
Registration opens at 5 PM. Our first presentation is at 5:45 PM. Feel free to arrive and mingle with the presenters, have your books signed, visit the book sales tables, and enjoy the complimentary hors d’oeuvres. There is also a cash bar on site.
Is there an ATM on site?
No, but there are several banks close by. The cash bar does accept credit cards.
Do the presenters sell their books before or after their talks?
Yes, authors will be available on Friday and Saturday for books signings. They will also have books for sale. Other authors that are not speaking will also be in the signing and sales area.
I’m a history author, can I sell my books at the event?
Yes, but space is limited. There is a $45.00 flat setup fee for the weekend. You must also purchase a $110.00 vendor ticket. Click here for more information.
Is lunch included in the Sunday tour?
No. Participant’s may bring their own along, or they may purchase a lunch through our catering service at the registration table when you arrive.
What if I can’t make it Friday?
Not to worry, registration is open Saturday morning as well.
What is traffic in the area like?
While Spotsylvania is more rural, Fredericksburg is a bedroom community of Washington D.C. Thus, this area of the I-95 corridor can be EXTREMELY heavy on Friday afternoons/evenings, especially if you are traveling in from the north. Please note this as you plan your trip.
