Ongoing C-SPAN3 Coverage of Fourth Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium

Over the last several weeks, our friends at C-SPAN 3 have been airing and re-airing presentations from this year’s Fourth Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium. The coverage will continue throughout the weekend. On Saturday at 2:35 p.m. Eastern, our panel discussion, “Civil War Defenses” will debut on C-SPAN 3. It will re-air again Saturday at 6 p.m. Eastern and again on Sunday at 6:35 a.m. Eastern. Brian Jordan’s keynote discussion on the Battle of South Mountain will also re-air at 10:10 a.m. Eastern on Sunday.

Speaking of our Symposiums, earlier this week we announced our full lineup for the Fifth Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium at Stevenson Ridge, Aug. 3-5, 2018. The Early Bird rate is still available by clicking here.

Do enjoy the c-span programs. But, sure wish their producers would make better use of your speakers visual aides; ie. Red laser pointers don’t show on TV screens and speakers using maps while the cameras are scanning people getting up for coffee is “real bush”. But, that’s life in the world of PBS type of programing, I guess. But, great speakers overall, looking forward to Aug. 2018. Wish I could be there..
    Thanks…
PS, tell Chris to take it EZ on the beers while chatting over what could of/should of at the tav…. 😉
