Yes, there are a great many hotels in the Fredericksburg area. We recommend staying in “Fredericksburg South” region and will add updates for the hotel special rates and a block of rooms for the Symposium.

What time should I get there Friday?

Doors open for check-in and registration at 4:00 p.m. Feel free to arrive and mingle with the presenters, have your books signed, visit the book sales tables, and enjoy the complimentary hors d’oeuvres. There is also a cash bar on site.

No, but there are several banks close by. The cash bar does accept credit cards.

Yes, authors will be available on Friday and Saturday for books signings. They will also have books for sale. Other authors that are not speaking will also be in the signing and sales area.

Is lunch included in the Sunday tour?

No. Participants may bring their own along.

What is traffic in the area like?

While Spotsylvania is more rural, Fredericksburg is a bedroom community of Washington D.C.  Thus, this area of the I-95 corridor can be EXTREMELY heavy on Friday afternoons/evenings, especially if you are traveling in from the north. Please note this as you plan your trip.
