Over the years, Emerging Civil War has grown from simply being a blog that gives a voice to up-and-coming historians; it has also grown into numerous book series, a speakers bureau, and a sister blog at Emerging Revolutionary War. The hover-over on the scroll-down list on the main page offers a complete listing of our editors and authors. Chris Mackowski, Ph.D.: Chris is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Emerging Civil War. He also serves as the managing editor of the Emerging Civil War Series (published by Savas Beatie, LLC) and is co-editor of the Engaging the Civil War Series, which a partnership between Southern Illinois University Press and Emerging Civil War.

Kristopher D. White: Kristopher is the co-founder as well as the chief historian of Emerging Civil War. He serves in the same capacity for the Emerging Civil War Series. White is also the co-editor of the Engaging the Civil War Series, which is a partnership between Southern Illinois University Press and Emerging Civil War.

Daniel T. Davis: Daniel serves as the managing editor of the Emerging Civil War Blog.

Phillip Greenwalt: Phillip serves as the editor-in-chief of the Emerging Revolutionary War blog and serves in the same capacity for the new Emerging Revolutionary War Book Series.

Ryan Quint: Ryan serves as the book review editor for Emerging Civil War. He is also the assistant editor of the Civil War Regiments Series.
