ECW Week in Review June 19-25

Steward Henderson, guest author Kristen Trout, Chris Mackowski, Caroline Davis and Dan Davis contributed pieces for “My Favorite Historical Person.” Sarah Bierle offered reflections and the evolution of how we form our favorite historical figures.
Since last Sunday was Father’s Day, Sarah and Meg Groeling offered tributes to their dads.
Chris Mackowski was also “On Location” at Kennesaw Mountain.
Ryan Quint wrote a profile on an officer buried in the Fredericksburg National Cemetery, Warrington Roberts. Roberts served in the United States Colored Troops, was wounded at the Crater and after the war was an agent for the Freedman’s Bureau.
In observance of the 141st Anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn, Dan Davis wrote a piece on the placement of the headstones on the battlefield.
