Symposium Spotlight: 2023 Battlefield Tour on Sunday!

It’s a tradition at the Emerging Civil War Symposiums to go on a battlefield tour on Sunday morning!

This year we’ll be heading to the First Day at Chancellorsville Battlefield where Daniel T. Davis and Sarah Kay Bierle will team to co-lead a tour of this extensive property preserved by the American Battlefield Trust. Dan is thrilled to be returning to ECW for the weekend to share his knowledge of the opening shots at the battle of Chancellorsville. Sarah is already pulling some unique accounts to help explore this first day of fighting through the eyes of the soldiers and civilians who experienced it.

As always, the Sunday tour is included in your Symposium ticket, and we look forward to seeing you “on the battlefield.”
