Make a Year-End Gift to ECW

‘Tis the time of the year that your email inboxes are probably being filled with appeals from not-for-profits: “Make your tax-deductible year-end gift now!”

You probably got a lot of those emails back in November, too, in advance of Giving Tuesday. ECW doesn’t send out solicitations because we don’t want to add to the avalanche.

Although we don’t actively conduct fund-raising campaigns, as an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 not-for-profit, Emerging Civil War does accept donations. We use those gifts to pay for our web-hosting fees, newsletter costs, software subscriptions, and other administrative costs. None of that is really the “sexy” history stuff we all love to read and learn about, but it is the backbone that supports what we do.
