2025 Year in Review: Guest Authors
We had a HUGE year for Guest Posts in 2025! An astounding 65 authors offered their research, source discoveries, and perspectives on the blog in 133 posts. Many were first-time authors this year, and others were returning authors.
This year we continued our guest writing connections by hosting Civil War Round Table Congress members in exploring how to support these organizations, and we also featured a guest writing series about New York in the Civil War.
We also hosted a guest author virtual info session to allow our guest writers a chance to meet one another and to speak with our editorial team about the writing process, projects, and goals. This year four of our guest authors transitioned to becoming full contributors and member historians!
My thanks to every guest author as well as the numerous ECW members who have volunteered to serve on the Editorial Board and assist in reviewing content.
