Chris Mackowski was honored by the Raleigh (NC) Civil War Roundtable as this year’s recipient of the roundtable’s T. Harry Gatton Award. Presented annually since 2008, the Gatton Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the understanding of and appreciation for the American Civil War.
