On Location: At Beaver Dam Creek with Author Doug Crenshaw

My adventures On Location at the Richmond-area battlefields continue. I’m hanging out with Doug Crenshaw, author of the upcoming ECWS book Richmond Shall Not Be Given Up: The Seven Days Battles. We stopped by Beaver Dam Creek, where Doug has a personal connection.

Beaver Dam Creek is one of the smallest units at Richmond National Battlefield but well worth the visit. Click here to visit the park’s Beaver Dam Creek webpage.

The Civil War Trust likewise has a page with info about the battle and some cool maps.

Like Doug, ECW author Dan Davis has a family connection to Beaver Dam Creek.
