Coming Up!

As we embark on a new week I wanted to give an update as to what we have been working on here at Emerging Civil War.

Over the last few days we have been building new pages that we will launch tonight. We have recommended reading tabs. These tabs will have reading for battles, personalities, politics, etc… All of the books, essays and articles are ones that the authors have enjoyed reading or have found useful in reasearch. Each title will have a link to where you can purchase it. The lisiting will grow over the next few weeks.

We are also working on a research area. We want site visitors to be able to come in and research battles, units, personalities and more. Links will take you to useful sites that you may research on the web or sites for repositories of printed material (i.e. National archives, Library of Congress,etc…) Again, this lisiting will grow over the next few weeks.

Also this evening the book review of Chancellorsville: Crossroad of Fire. Will be posted. Thursday will see the second installment of Kristopher D White’s Bombardment and Looting of Fredericksburg. Daniel Davis is finishing his Aldie work, just needs to take a few pictures before we get that posted and out to you. Zac Cowsert is also finishing up his first post.
