First Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium at Stevenson Ridge

All of us at Emerging Civil War are proud to announce our first annual Civil War Symposium. The symposium will be hosted by Stevenson Ridge, on the Spotsylvania Court House Battlefield, and will be sponsored by Savas Beatie, LLC.

The theme of the August 15-17 weekend will be “The War in 1864.” Our own Chris Mackowski will emcee the event, while author/historian Eric J. Wittenberg will serve as our keynote speaker.

The weekend will include roundtable discussions on various topics, lectures by Emerging Civil War authors, book signings and a car caravan tour of the Wilderness and Spotsylvania Battlefields.
