Year in Review 2015: #4

Year in Review-Header

Coming in at number four on our list of the top ten most-read posts at ECW this year is a commentary by ECW’s Steward Henderson from June 27, 2015—just as summer and the Confederate Culture Wars were both heating up.

As a front-line interpreter at a Civil War park in central Virginia, as an African-American, and as a living historian involved in telling the story of the United States Colored Troops, Steward was uniquely positioned at the convergence of a number of discussions about race, heritage, history, memory, and stewardship.

The fourth-most-read post from 2015: “My Thoughts on the Confederate Flag” by Steward Henderson.
