The Year in Review 2016: #8

Year in Review-Header

According to the conventional wisdom, the Eastern Theater overshadows the Western Theater, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at our top ten posts for 2016. The West is well-represented. #9 on our list featured Longstreet in the West; #8 jumps from 1863 to 1864 and the Atlanta Campaign. Guest author Angela Zombeck gave readers an up-close look at one of the campaign’s several slugfests.

Coming in at #8: “‘History Hides the Lies of Our Civil War’: The Forgotten Battle of Pickett’s Mill” by Angela Zombeck, Ph.D., posted on July 7, 2016.
