C-SPAN Live from the Emerging Civil War Symposium

All of us at Emerging Civil War are thrilled to welcome back C-SPAN to this year’s Fourth Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium at Stevenson Ridge. For the first time ever, C-SPAN will air our Saturday lineup of speakers in its entirety, LIVE from Stevenson Ridge.

C-SPAN will tape Friday evening’s events, which include our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Brian Matthew Jordan, talks by Dr. Kelly Mezurek and Kristopher D. White, and our roundtable discussion emceed by Chris Mackowski. (C-SPAN will not air Friday’s activities live but, rather, will air them at a later date.)

On Saturday, C-SPAN will go live from Stevenson Ridge! Daniel Welch will kick the day off with his talk “Boys, give them rocks,” Stonewall Jackson’s Stand at Second Manassas. From there we will have talks on Antietam, Stones River, Gettysburg, and more.
