2018 Year In Review: Site Migration

Hey, from the outside, it might not seem like a major happening, but the ECW site migration in January 2018 was a big undertaking coordinated by Dan Davis to get more server space and capabilities for our beloved website. It was our major tech update and innovation for the year, and for historians – that’s worth celebrating.

Literally, thousands of blog posts were carefully moved from one server to another! We’re grateful for our tech advisers and support team. And we’re also thankful for your patience during that stressful time when we didn’t get to have as many posts publishing as usual.

We’ve got more plans in the works for the coming years and are grateful for all your interest and “traffic” to the website that lets us know this is the history you love and want to learn and discuss. Our goal is to stay with the times and keep the articles easy to receive, read, and find again.
