Year in Review: History Themed Months

This year we continued and expanded some traditional blog monthly features at Emerging Civil War. February offered a special series for Black History Month. March followed with highlights for Women’s History Month. Then, November brought some new history accounts with Native American History Month.

These months offer opportunities to spotlight accounts and new perspectives within Civil War history. Military units, social changes, battlefield stories, and cultural challenges are all part of the saga of history and we enjoyed branching out for these months.
