ECW Weekender: Facebook LIVE Along the North Anna

Join ECW historians Bert Dunkerly and Chris Mackowski for a Facebook LIVE history chat from the Jericho Mills battlefield along the North Anna River. Bert is a ranger with Richmond National Battlefield, which is hosting the event, and ECW has the privilege of serving as co-host!

The North Anna River represented Robert E. Lee’s last chance to strike a blow against Ulysses S. Grant. Bert and Chris will offer a special Facebook live “virtual tour” as they recount the opening action–and most significant fight–along the North Anna.

Join them at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14.

  1. Outstanding! The North Anna is a true gem! I would love to get an update on the ABT property & Fox House status. I’d also love to see some film on the ABT property looking at Hennigan’s Redoubt from the south bank of the North Anna (and perhaps the road trace of the original Telegraph Road). I’ve heard conflicting information whether parts of A.P. Hill’s Corps arrived at the Jericho Mills portion of the battlefield by train. What are your thoughts?
