AND, word on the street is that there are about a dozen tickets available for the ECW Symposium at Stevenson Ridge, August 6-9. We had to suspend ticket sales because of COVID restrictions, but with restrictions in Virginia now lifted, we’re able to let a few more people in the door. We’ve had a lot of inquiries about availability over the last few months, so tickets may go fast. Tickets are $175 each and are available here.

As an American Civil War hobbyist who has been interested in it since discovering an original edition of Miller’s 50tieth Anniversary Photographic History of the Civil War in my school’s library having spent years in Europe walking battlefields of the Napoleonic wars I have a Question that links the two. What are the similarities between that of Quatre Bras, a prelude to the battle of Waterloo and the delaying engagements on South Mountain, a prelude to the battle of Antietam?
