Symposium Spotlight: Book Sales at the Symposium

One thing the symposium is never short on is books. Whether it’s the latest offerings from our cadre of ECW historians or a treasure from our used book sale, you’re sure to leave Stevenson Ridge with several new volumes for your home library. And after a year spent burning through our ‘to read’ stack, we’re all due to replenish our supply.

This years symposium will feature book signings by eleven ECW historians and friends. This will include some of our newest releases, like our tenth anniversary Summer of ’63: Gettysburg, published just last month by Savas Beatie. Not all of our historians accept credit card, so cash is your best bet to make sure you walk away with the books you want.

We will also feature our expansive and popular used book sale. This year, a significant number of books in the used book sale are courtesy of a generous donation from the American Civil War Museum in Richmond, with special thanks to John Coski. All of these books will be priced to move. We will be able to accept credit card and PayPal for the used book sale and ECW merchandise, but cash is encouraged.

Pro tip: We will replenish books at the book sale tables throughout the weekend, so be sure to stop by during the breaks to see what books have been added!

We look forward to seeing all of our friends next week at Stevenson Ridge. Only ten more days!
