The Ninth Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium will be hosted at Stevenson Ridge (Spotsylvania, Virginia) on August 4-6, 2023. We’ll be focusing on 1863 and some of the most pivotal events of that year of the American Civil War.

  1. You will be meeting not far from where I live (Alexandria VA). Please contact me if you need a speaker on John S. Mosby (he began his partisan activity in Jan. 1863 and captured the Union General in March 1863 in Fairfax VA. My History Press book is ‘Mosby’s Raids in Civil War Northern Virginia’.
