ECW News: Behind the Scenes at Gettysburg History’s Hopkins House Project

Earlier this month, we told you about a new project announced by Gettysburg History to build a Black history museum in this historic Hopkins House, the last surviving Black-owned home in Gettysburg from the Civil War era. (Watch the interview with Gettysburg History’s Andrew Dalton here.)

Following that announcement, I had an exclusive opportunity to explore the Hopkins House for a behind-the-scenes look, courtesy of Gettysburg History.

For more info on the project, including a look at the architectural rendering, visit Gettysburg History’s Hopkins House page. You’ll also find information on how you can make a donation to support the project.
