Congratulations to Brian Matthew Jordan

Jordan, Brian MatthewOur enthusiastic congratulations to Brian Matthew Jordan. This week, the Pulitzer Prize committee announced its winners for 2016, and Brian was one of the finalists in the history category!

Brian’s sweeping and empathetic Marching Home: Union Veterans and Their Unending Civil War, was cited by the Pulitzer committee as “a history exposing mental and physical infirmities that beset Civil War veterans, maladies that echo in the experiences of many veterans today.” (See Derek Maxfield’s ECW review from last May.)
