Making A (Book) List—And Checking It Twice…

None of these books are naughty, but they’d sure be a nice addition to your Civil War book collection!

Do you make lists of the books in your personal library? Sometimes, it’s a good idea to take stock of what’s on the shelf and what’s needed. Or maybe you’re trying to compile a list of last-minute gift ideas for your friend, kids, or significant other.

Well, we thought we’d make a list this morning…of all the books in the Emerging Civil War Series, published by Savas Beatie.

We would love to hear in the comments if you have every title on your book shelf or which one’s you might be adding to your Christmas wish list. (All our titles are available directly from Savas Beatie or through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or any other major book seller!)

  1. So many great titles there ! I have a fair size collection, but always like to read more and different perspectives.

  2. I’ve read several of the books (yours on Grant’s Last Battle, Dave Powell’s first volume on Chattanooga, and Lee White’s book on Chickamauga. I’m currently reading the book on the 1864 Shenandoah Campaign. I don’t regret any of the purchases.
