2021 Symposium Ticket Sales Closing 1/31

Attention procrastinators! This is your last call!

With our thanks for outstanding sales over the past month, we have made the decision to close ticket sales for our 2021 annual symposium, effective 11:59pm on Sunday, January 31. Facing the realities of the ongoing pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to limit our sales for this year, thus allowing for appropriate social distancing at Stevenson Ridge. Ensuring the health and safety of our symposium attendees is our top priority.

We will continue to monitor both Virginia and Federal guidelines, and if circumstances permit we may reopen limited ticket sales closer to the symposium date. There is no guarantee any additional tickets will be made available, so this may be your last chance to secure your spot for 2021!

For those still considering attending, we encourage you to purchase your tickets now at the rate of $175. This year’s symposium will be held August 6 – 8, 2021, with the theme “Fallen Leaders.” We have eight outstanding historians lined up along with our keynote speaker, Gordon Rhea. Our Sunday tour, led by Greg Mertz, will focus on the wounding of James Longstreet at the Battle of the Wilderness.

We missed seeing everyone at Stevenson Ridge last year and we can’t wait to welcome you back.  As always, thank you for your continued support of Emerging Civil War!

  1. For those of us who said we wanted our 2020 tickets to roll over to 2021, should we contact someone to confirm that we are already registered to attend the 2021 symposium?

    1. Hi Don,

We have you confirmed as attending. All attendees will be hearing from us after ticket sales close. Thanks so much for your support!
