Good Reading on Henry and Donelson

With this week being the anniversary of the battle of Fort Donelson, we want to take a moment to point you to the work of historian Timothy B. Smith. His book on the subject, Grant Invades Tennessee: The 1862 Battles for Forts Henry and Donelson (University of Kansas Press, 2016), was the recipient of the inaugural ECW Book Award in 2017.
