Thank you so much for making this link to Mr. Crenshaw’s talk available. My gg grandfather was part of Bratton’s brigade and was wounded at that battle and his brother-in-law was killed. I have a letter from another brother-in-law, stating the man was buried on the field. I’ve always been curious to find out what happened to his makeshift grave.
