  1. Mr. Lincoln, during your investigation of facts involving the destruction of the first railroad bridge across the Mississippi River in May 1856 (commonly referred to as “Hurd vs. Rock Island Bridge Company”) did you come to the conclusion that then-Secretary of War Jefferson Davis had any case to answer in regard to the “accident” that befell that bridge?

  2. Mr. President, Did you suspect the reaction of Charleston authorities to the resupply of Ft. Sumter would be anything other than what it was?”

  3. Mr. Lincoln: why did you choose Andrew Johnson as your Vice President when you acknowledged the constant threat of assassination?

    1. I think Lincoln would say… “because Andrew Johnson is a badass white Southern Unionist, who can get out the white Southern Unionist vote for the National Union party, and like me he isn’t a radical Republican”. Lincoln loved him some Andrew Johnson. A Trans-Appalachia brother in arms against the Confederacy and for the National Union party.

  4. Abraham, do you regret not seeing combat in the Black Hawk War of 1832?

    or

Abraham, why are you supporting sending Afro-Americans back to Africa?

I would never have a one question conversation with Abraham Lincoln, but I might would stop at two.

  5. Why did you think compensation for slaves would lead the south to stop the civil war and make peace? Were you serious about that, or was it just a troll?

  6. Abe, what are you hiding in that big hat? your lunch? On a more serious note, I’d ask him why he kept Halleck around as Chief of Staff in 1862 and 1863. And why he wanted Burnside to be head of the Army of the Potomac when no one, even Burnside, thought he would good at it.

  7. President Lincoln, did you write the answer to the Bixby letter or was it written by your secretary, John Hay, and you merely signed the letter?

  8. Let’s see if my posts are accepted on here. I haven’t been able to for awhile now.

    1. Hey, sorry about that! Not quite sure why WordPress was flagging your comments, but you should be good to go now.
      Thanks,
      Sarah
