  1. there is still a surprisingly intact, large 10-gun chevron fortification in the rear of the CSA left along their primary Mine Run works. The fortification is oriented to guard incursions at Morton’s Ford, the road from Stevensburg to the the Rapidan, and Tobacco Stick Ford.
