LOCAL NEWS.

Arrived — The Blue-birds.
Departed — The Snow-birds.
Very Muddy — The traveling.
A Facetious man — Our Sutler.
Mild — The weather for the last few days.
At Onancock — Company “B” on detached service.
At Guilford, and two or three other places — Company “H” on ditto ditto.
Went off like hot cakes — The first issue of The Flag.
All good Union men — Those who live hereabout at this time.
Hold our Secession to the last — The ladies of this part of the country.
Always new — The weather, as a subject of conversation.
At Pongoteague — Company “E” on detached service.
Turned Rag Picker — Our late Drum Major.
Like Summer — The weather last Monday.
At Snow Hill — About one hundred boxes and packages, for men of this regiment.
