Registration is Open for the Third Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium

All of us at Emerging Civil War are proud to announce that the registration for the Third Annual Emerging Civil War Symposium at Stevenson Ridge is now open! Our Early Bird registration rate is just $75.00 per person, and ends November 30, 2015. After November 30th the registration rate is $95.00 per person.

The dates for our 2016 symposium are August 5-7, 2016.

Our theme for this year is “Great Attacks of the Civil War,” and our keynote speaker is Jim Ogden. Jim serves as Chief Historian of Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. His keynote presentation will look at James Longstreet’s assault at Chickamauga.

Other presenters include Edward Alexander, Eric Wittenberg, and Chris Mackowski. Our Sunday morning tour will cover the Marye’s Heights Sector of the Second Fredericksburg Battlefield.

Your admission includes Friday evening hors d’oeuvres, keynote speaker, and roundtable discussion; Saturday’s speaker series and lunch; Sunday mornings tour-as well as a raffle ticket and welcome gift. Reservations are required for this event.
