    1. Well said. With the cold weather upon so many of us, folks should subscribe, make a good cup of coffee, and just relax and listen. A great way for history buffs to weather the weather.

      1. Thanks, Meg, for your recent post of the wonderful picture of Susie King Taylor. I find the pose very interesting. The chair is facing forward, but she is sitting on it sideways. Her head is at an angle, but her eyes are straight on the photographer. Her dress looks like it is brand new. The plants in the back look like they are in pots, set up for this photo.
