The various groups and trusts that are acquiring portions of battlefields – I wonder, have appeals ever been made directly to new Presidents to use their power to set aside battlefields in perpetuity? We have a new President arriving in January and he’s very patriotic. Why not ask President Trump for help across the land to help save our battlefields?
