A misty morning on South Mountain, where the Appalachian Trail winds up and away from the Civil War Correspondents Memorial at Crampton’s Gap and heads north.

    It is about time someone linked Led Zeppelin IV to the Battle of South Mountain, although I think The Rain Song from HOTH might better suit the photo.

    Thank you for a memory. It has been 50 years, this summer, since I hiked the Appalachian Trail through there.
