Help! I want to let Kent Masterson Brown know not only how much I loved “Meade at Gettysburg”, but that the book is now a staple of our Mount Diablo District (part of the General Federated Women’s Clubs of USA) because I mentioned it was a study in leadership which is a skill we look to increase in our members. Women are telling me, “I have the book and have started reading it.” This is a lovely surprise for me, yeah! However, although I have searched for a way to message Kent, I have not been successful and so am turning to you as a potential kindly messenger. Would you be so kind? I hope so. I first met Kent at an American Battlefield Trust conference in Kentucky where he led a group tour on Lee’s Retreat and one on Morgan. Loved both as well as Kent. Enjoyed the podcast. Thanks. Superb book with the podcast putting you in Meade’s seat to understand his preferences for the Pipe Creek line but committed to G-burg by subordinates, his adjustment to command, movement of troops on the fly in battle and supply and forage issues hampering troops in battle and particularly support.
Love to hear a podcast on Kent’s book “Retreat from Gettysburg”. Great book and Kent is an engaging speaker.
