Happy Father’s Day

Many of our writers at ECW are also fathers. Our love and support goes out to them today (and every day) as they toil to tell the stories of other fathers, other children, other times.

We think of Lincoln and Davis as parents, but I found this image of William Seward and his young daughter Fanny today during some research on another topic. I never thought of Seward as a parent of a young child. I offer this . . .
